A Shaker Door Wardrobe – Fitted wardrobes in Essex

This recent project for a shaker door wardrobe started after this client had seen our vehicles and were looking for fitted wardrobes. They called us to make an appointment for a free design visit. During the initial design visit we talked through with the customer their ideas and what they needed from their fitted wardrobe and the particular features they liked. We also went through our Fitted Wardrobe Brochure to offer some suggestions and inspiration. Once we had ascertained exactly what the clients requirements and expectations were we went away to create our visuals and quotations.

Creating a Design for this Shaker Door Wardrobe

We began to design these shaker door wardrobe for the client in our showroom. After a few revisions to fine tune exactly what the clients liked and a visit to the showroom the above visuals were signed off. This design featured our Rockingham Range in Dove Grey with the darker Anthracite Linen interior finish. The central 2 doors were to be mirrored but to keep the mid rail to allow the line details within the doors to line through.

Manufacturing Shaker Door Wardrobes

We created this furniture using egger board in the Anthracite Linen finish which has been highly popular with the dark, moody feel within a wardrobe it looks great and compliments the dove grey exterior finish very well. All our furniture features soft close hinges and drawer runners from Blum. Once everything had been made and inspected ready for installation we had it in our factory ready for the installation date.

Installation of fitted shaker door wardrobes

The installation day arrived and the client had the room empty and ready for us to begin. Once all the furniture had been lifted in to the room our team set about installing. The carpet was to be replaced after the shaker door wardrobe so we cut the carpet back as required and fitted our furniture on the floorboards. This creates a strong, sturdy and level foundation.
