Fitted Wardrobes in Cambridgeshire

We recently have begun working with a prestigious developer on a development in Cambridgeshire. They were looking for a new supplier for fitted wardrobes in Cambridgeshire. Each of their new builds were being supplied with fitted in wardrobes. The properties are built to a very high specification and feature some very high ceilings. The designs of the properties were very thought out and allowed for adequate space for the new furniture.

We arranged an initial site visit to survey the first plot. The space for the new wardrobes was great. There were a few design challenges to contend with. The main design feature was, due to the room shape, the eaves space behind these fitted wardrobes in Cambridgeshire was to be accessible for storage so the access door need to offer clear access. As you can see from the picture below the space behind these fitted wardrobes was very large.

The next design challenge for the fitted wardrobes was hanging space. Due to the sloped ceilings the space didn’t offer enough height for double hanging which the customer really wanted. The brief was to use a front frame system and bring the fitted wardrobes forward to allow for a total depth of 890mm overall. This would allow for the customer to have double hanging inside the wardrobes, some shelving and drawer space and storage space behind the hanging for larger suitcases etc.

Fitted In Wardrobes Design and Specification

The clients had a set design brief for their wardrobes. The finish chosen was a very in trend Grey Nebraska Oak part of the Egger collection. In the past year we have seen a real rise in the popularity of woodgrains particularly those bold, statement finish that become the centre piece for any space.

The colour scheme was to flow inside the wardrobes and to help create a break point so the wardrobes didn’t overpower one wall the clients added a dressing table space in the centre. To finish off the design the clients were supplying their own handles in a brass finish. Unfortunately these were not on the job by the time we came to install.

The installation day arrived and everything went perfectly. We always ensure all surfaces are protected from the front door to the room we are working in. We take pride in every aspect of the job when it comes to Wardrobes. We aim to leave the room as clean as we found it along with the fitted furniture being cleaned and polished ready to use straight away. The furniture all installed, the room cleaned up and the customers happy we completed this installation of these wardrobes.
