This completed project in Hutton, Brentwood, Essex involved designing and installing fitted wardrobes across four bedrooms in a new-build family home.
Although the property was part of an exclusive four-home development, the bedrooms had been left without the storage the customer needed for day-to-day family life. With a growing family, the brief was to make each room work properly — not just add wardrobes for the sake of it.
We designed a mixture of full-height wall-to-wall wardrobes and angled fitted wardrobes, using a combination of Blyton matt finishes and Oulton gloss finishes, all planned around the shape and use of each bedroom.

Project Summary:
This was a full multi-bedroom fitted wardrobe project for a new-build home in Hutton, Brentwood. The customer needed storage across all four bedrooms, but each room had different requirements.
Some bedrooms allowed for large, full-height runs of fitted wardrobes, while other areas had sloped ceilings and awkward eaves that needed a more considered design. Rather than crowding every wall with furniture, we planned each room individually to give the customer practical storage while still keeping the bedrooms comfortable and usable.
The final project included a mix of matt and gloss finishes, Anthracite Linen interiors, true handleless push-to-open doors, brushed copper finger pull handles, and angled doors in difficult spaces. It is a strong example of how bespoke fitted wardrobes can be designed around the property, the family and the way each room needs to work.
Design and Finish:
For this project, the customer chose a mixture of our Blyton modern matte wardrobes and Oulton true handleless fitted wardrobes, giving each bedroom its own finish while keeping the overall feel clean and modern.
The finishes included Gloss Stone Grey and Matt Graphite, paired with Anthracite Linen interiors. Some doors were designed as true handleless push-to-open, while others used our Finger Pull Ruby handles in Brushed Copper for a warmer contrast against the darker finishes.
One of the most important parts of the design was working with the sloped ceilings. In the awkward eaves areas, we used angled doors to turn otherwise unused space into practical storage. In the larger bedrooms, we used full-height, wall-to-wall wardrobe runs to maximise hanging and storage space.
The customer also valued the design advice during the planning stage, especially around where wardrobes would be useful and where adding too much furniture could make the room feel overcrowded.
