The clients had purchased a high-end family home, but despite the quality of the property it offered very little useful built-in storage. Simply Fitted Wardrobes was commissioned to create fitted furniture across several different areas of the house, including living, working, bedroom and utility spaces.
This Clavering study was one part of that wider project. The requirement here was not simply to add decorative furniture: the room needed practical working storage for paperwork, files and the everyday items that accumulate in a home office.
The solution used our Rockingham Shaker range, adapting its traditional furniture style for a fitted study rather than a bedroom wardrobe installation. Low-level fitted base units provide cupboards and dedicated file drawers so important office storage can sit within one coordinated furniture design.
Sage Green was chosen for the exterior, with Painted Oak Sage Green used for the interior and carcass finish. Brushed bronze knobs and matching brushed bronze cup handles add a warmer traditional detail to the Shaker-style fronts.
Although this office formed part of a coordinated whole-house project, it was still designed around its own purpose and character.
