An Oak Fitted Bedroom.
This is one of our recent more traditional styles of installation. The clients brief was quite straight forward. This bedroom which had recently been converted from a garage to another bedroom was going to be for an elderly relative. Some inspiration for this installation was chosen through our pinterest page.
There needed to be a portion of hanging space with plenty of shelving to house all their belongings. The rest of the furniture in the bedroom was to be free standing drawer units and a small shelved cupboard. Something that was asked of us was to install doors in an existing architrave to match the furniture in the room. Inside this architrave was the house hold electric meters etc.
Once the design had been confirmed and the survey had been carried out the customer agreed an installation date and we set about creating the bespoke units. One technical issue was that behind where the wardrobes were to be situated there was the transformer for some exterior gadgets which needed to be accessed, because we build all our wardrobes with 18 mm back panels an access hole would be required to be cut out during the installation process.
Every wardrobe we build is constructed using a carcass style method. In our opinion its the only way wardrobes should be. Some companies charge extra for back panels or simply use a front frame system where the contents of your wardrobes will be touching the back wall. Then when it comes to redecorating with our carcass system you wont need to be painting inside your wardrobes.
The Installation – Oak fitted bedroom Essex
The installation went smoothly and everything was fitted to the highest of standards. The transformed room really has a traditional feel. The handles were chosen by the customer which were a Queen Anne style Brass Knob. We believe these really added the traditional feel to the overall room.
