Walk in Wardrobe

A Walk in Wardrobe that Simply Fitted Wardrobes recently installed for a client.

 

This Walk in Wardrobe required a lot of though in terms of the designs especially for the sloped ceilings and soil pipe located in the room. This room was a recent extension to a beautiful farm house located in Essex. The new extension added plenty of space to the existing property and enabled our client to have a bespoke Walk in Wardrobe.

 

The room in question was anything but standard. With sloped ceilings and a soil pipe there were plenty of obstacles to over come and work with in terms of the design and achieving exactly what this particular client wanted from their Walk in Wardrobe.

As you can see the room had its fair share of angles and obstacles. The brief for this Walk in Wardrobes straight forward enough. The client wanted two side a his and hers effectively. Shoe storage was required as well as drawers and some shelved section. Our designer set about putting together some designs and visuals for our client. Due to the angled ceiling heights it was agreed that a cornice would be used as opposed to a ceiling scribe. Once again though the restricted head room meant a small square section cornice was to be used to create that “in-frame” look. After a few tweaks between the clients and ourselves the visuals were agreed upon and contracts were signed. Here are a few of the visual images below:

The interior colour is our elegant Textured Oak which is available for all of our heritage collections. Originally the client was planning to go with our Dove Grey but decided upon the matt white to future proof the room. The date for installation was agreed upon and the day arrived.

 

The installation went smoothly and everything fitted to perfection. Here are a few snaps from the completed installation:

 

The interiors were everything our client wanted with ample amount of space. The textured Oak interior as well as our warm white L.E.D internal lighting system created the overall feel of a luxurious high end Walk in Wardrobe. To compliment the clean, straight lines of these Rockingham fitted wardrobes were our popular Rugby knobs which brought the room to the perfect finish. Check out these Handles:

 

The room was completed and the customer couldn’t wait to start using their brand new Walk in Wardrobe.
